Applicant & Caregiver Phone Numbers

Overview

Phone numbers can be added when creating an intake, or afterward via the Applicant Data or Placement Information pages. Binti validates phone numbers to ensure accuracy. Unlimited phone numbers can be added, labeled, and annotated. 

 

Adding & Editing Applicant Phone Numbers (Licensing Module)

Applicant phone numbers can be modified and added on the Applicant Data page:

    1. From the Caregiver Applications dashboard, locate the desired family.
    2. On the far right, hover over "Actions" and select "Applicant Data".
    3. On the Applicant Data page, in the Phone Number field, click the blue “Edit or Add New Number" hyperlink.
    4. The country code is automatically set to the United States. If entering an international number, click the flag icon to open a list of other country options, or enter the country code manually.
    5. Input phone number, type of phone (mobile, home, or work), and any notes.
    6. To add multiple numbers, click the "Add Another Contact Number" button.
    7. Click the blue "Save Changes" button to save.

To edit, click the "Edit or Add New Number" button again, make the necessary changes, and save.

 

Adding & Editing Caregiver Phone Numbers (Placements Module)

Caregiver phone numbers can be modified and added on the View Placement Information page:

  1. From the Placement Options dashboard, locate the desired family
  2. On the far right, hover over "Actions" and select "View Placement Information"
  3. On the View Placement Information page, in the Phone Number field, click the blue “Edit or Add New Number" hyperlink
  4. The country code is automatically set to the United States. If entering an international number, click the flag icon to open a list of other country options, or enter the country code manually.
  5. Input phone number, type of phone (mobile, home, or work), and any notes.
  6. To add multiple numbers, click the "Add Another Contact Number" button
  7. Click the blue "Save Changes" button to save

To edit, click the "Edit or Add New Number" button again, make the necessary changes, and save.

 

Primary Number

When multiple numbers are entered for the same person, the first one entered will automatically be labeled "Primary". This is the phone number that appears in reports. You can designate a different number as the primary one by clicking the "Mark as Primary" button:

Inactive Numbers

If a number was entered incorrectly or is no longer active, click the "Mark Inactive" button next to it. At this time, it is not possible to delete numbers once they have been saved.
