Child Referral Demographics Report

Overview

The Child Referral Demographics report in Binti provides a visual representation and tabular data of child referrals over time. This report helps agencies track and analyze placement outcomes based on various demographics.

Tabs

  • All: Displays the total, combined data for all child referrals.
  • Gender: Shows referral data broken down by girl, boy, or trans gender identities.
  • Age: Displays referral data categorized by age group.
  • Ethnicities: Shows referral data based on ethnic backgrounds.
  • Referred By: Displays data on which agencies or entities referred the children.

 

Bar Chart

Each bar chart visually represents the number of child referrals and their placement outcomes by month. Each individual bar represents a placement outcome, with different colors indicating different outcomes:

  • Green: Placement found
  • Orange: Not placed (no home available)
  • Blue: Not placed (referring agency withdrew)

Hovering over a bar provides specific data for that month.

 

Table

The table beneath the bar chart provides detailed numeric data for each month. It includes:

  • Placement Found: Number of children successfully placed.
  • Not Placed (no home available): Number of children not placed due to no available home.
  • Not Placed (referring agency withdrew): Number of children not placed because the referring agency withdrew.

This detailed breakdown helps in analyzing trends and understanding the reasons behind each outcome.
