Overview
If you need to reset your password, follow these steps. A password reset link will be sent to your email, with a link to create a new password and login to your account.
Passwords are case-sensitive and must be at least 8 characters. A password can contain symbols, numbers, and letters.
How Do I Reset My Password?
- Navigate to family.binti.com
- Click the “Forgot Your Password” button (beneath the “Sign In” button).
- If your email address is associated with a Binti account, a reset link will be emailed to you.
- NOTE: WA State caregivers do not login with email address & password, they must login using SAW.
I didn't receive a link
A link will only be sent if your email address is associated with a Binti account. Sometimes, your email settings might send the link to your spam folder.
Solutions:
- Check your spam folder.
- Check that you have typed your email address correctly.
- Try again with any other email addresses you might have used.
The link says it's expired
Links expire if you wait too long to click them, or if you request multiple links in a row. Only one link can be active at a time. This is a security measure to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Solutions:
- If you are the co-applicant on the account, you might receive a link - but it will not work. Login with the primary applicant’s email address and password instead.
- If you made multiple requests, check the time stamps of the emails and click the link in the newest one.
- Before requesting a new link, delete all previous reset password emails that you've received from Binti.
The system won't take my password
If you are typing in your existing password, make sure your caps lock or num lock aren't on. Passwords are case sensitive. Also if you have a password manager on your computer or device make sure the password stored in there matches what you think your password is.
If you are setting a new password and the system won't accept it please make sure the password you choose meets the following requirements
- Passwords must be longer than 8 characters
- Passwords must have a number
- Passwords must include a special character
- Passwords should not have repeating characters such as "aaa" or sequences such as "123" or "abc"
- Passwords cannot include the word Binti
