Overview
If you’re "stuck" or not allowed to move forward with your application in Binti because you don’t have a passcode or agency code, this article will guide you through what to do next.
Agencies may require an agency code to confirm your eligibility before allowing you to move forward. They will provide these to you directly once your eligibility has been verified. Once you enter in the agency code, you will be able to move to the next step of your application.
Passcodes may also appear at the end of videos, presentations, trainings, orientations, or quizzes in your portal to confirm you’ve completed the required content.
Common Questions:
- I’m stuck at orientation because I didn’t get a code. What do I do?
- Why won’t my application move forward without a passcode?
- What if I didn’t receive a passcode after completing the required video or document?
If you’re stuck at the orientation or another step in your application process due to a missing code, follow the steps below.
How Can I Get a Passcode?
If your agency didn't provide you a code, first watch or read any content, videos, or orientations provided within your portal. Often at the end of these, you will be provided with a passcode.
If you have done this and still don't have a code, you can contact your agency via the “Need Help” link, near the top-left corner of your portal. If no agency contacts are listed, contact Binti support and we can help you find the agency’s contact information.
If you are an agency worker you can find the passcode for an applicant in the applicant data page of your Binti portal (located in the Stage section towards the bottom of that page).
Watch or read any content, videos, or orientations provided within your portal. At the end, you will be provided with a passcode.
NOTE: Binti support is not authorized to provide passcodes. These can only be provided by the agency.
Why isn't my passcode working?
Passcodes are case-sensitive. If you entered a passcode but the "Next" button doesn't turn blue, or it isn’t working, verify that what you typed in the box exactly matches the passcode provided to you by the agency:
- Capitalized letters are capitalized.
- Lowercase letters are lowercase.
- There are no extra spaces at the beginning, end, or between any characters.
