Overview
A service record documents each service you deliver. It's also what your referring agency uses to track and pay for the work, so add one every time you provide a service.
How do I add a service record?
- Navigate to Children & Youth on the top blue navigation bar.
- Select Service Referrals in the dropdown.
- Use the filters if you need to, then find the referral, click the
located under the Actions row, and select "View" from the dropdown menu. (Please note: You can only add service records to referrals that are In Progress.)
- In the Records section, click "Add Service Record."
- Select the person or people who took part in the service.
- Select the Service Contract for what you delivered, such as Counseling, Mileage, or No Show.
- Enter the date of the service and the amount to bill. What you enter depends on the contract. See What do I enter for minutes, miles, or units on a service record?
- Add any notes the referring agency should know, then save the record.
Tip: If you're billing mileage, add the starting and ending addresses in the notes. It helps the referring agency review your record.
