Why can't I use this email address?

Error message: Email is already associated with an account in Binti

An email address can only be associated with one agency or application at a time. If you are trying to create an account in Binti and you get this error message indicates that the email address provided is already in use. Even if an application is inactive, the email address will remain associated with that account unless it is manually removed.

If you need to have an email released, please contact Binti support by typing in or selecting "talk to a human".

 

 

 

I am an agency worker, how can I resolve this issue?

Contact our Customer Support team by typing in Talk to a Human in the chat widget, and provide them with the email address you need to use for the applicant. Based on the status of the account:

Inactive Account: Our team will remove the email from the existing account. You may then create an intake for the caregiver, or instruct them to use your unique agency link to sign up.

Active Account: If the email is associated with an active application, our team will need permission from the applicant to remove the email from the existing account. You can instruct the applicant to contact us, or we can email them on your behalf.

 

I am an applicant, how can I resolve this issue?

Verify that you are the owner of the email address by one of the following methods, and request that your email address be removed from the old account:

  • Login to your old account and chat with our Customer Support team.
  • Email help@binti.com from the email address you need released.

Important Note: Once your email address is removed from your old account, you will no longer have access to the information or documents in that account. If you need to retain access to your old account, you can create a new account using a different email address.

 

Applicant did not complete sign-up process

In rare cases, if an applicant does not complete the sign-up process, their email address will be "stuck" in the system without an application attached. If you think this might have happened to you, please select "talk to a human" or send us an email from the email address you would like to use for assistance.
