How do I assign a worker to a family/provider?

Workers must have an account before they can be assigned to a family.
Verify that any worker you would like to assign has access to Binti. If they do not have an account yet, please create one for them.

 

How do I assign or un-assign a worker?

    1. From the Caregiver Applications dashboard, locate the desired family
    2. On the far right, hover over Actions > click "Edit Application"
    3. On the Edit Application page, scroll down to the Worker Assignments section:

      💡Tip: You can use the keyboard shortcuts CTRL-F (Windows) or Command-F (Mac) and search for the word "worker" to jump straight to this section.

    4. Assign or un-assign workers:
      • To assign a worker: begin typing their name and select them from the dropdown menu
      • To un-assign a worker: click the 'x' next to their name
    5. Click the "Update Application" button to save

 

Why am I getting an error when switching someone between Approvals Worker and Support Worker?

To avoid duplicate assignments, Binti does not allow a worker to be both an Approvals and a Support worker for the same family. If you are changing a worker's assignment type (for example, they were an Approvals Worker and will now be a Support Worker), follow these steps:

  1. Remove them from their prior role by clicking the 'x' next to their name
  2. Click "Update Application" to save your change
  3. Return to the Edit Application page and add them to their new role
  4. Click "Update Application" again
