Overview
This article is for workers. Training hours can be waived from an individual family's Training Requirements page:
- From any caregiver-specific page: click the "Training Logs" button in the group of navigation buttons in the top right.
- From the Caregiver Applications dashboard, click inside the Training Hours column for the desired family.
How do I waive training hours?
- Navigate to the family's Training Requirements page.
- To avoid errors, verify that all prior years' training hours have been logged or waived.
- Locate the year for which you want to waive training hours. (Note: if the year you want to waive trainings for doesn't have a waive button just go to the most current year where there is a waive button available)
- On that year's line, click the "Waive" button on the far right. If you don't see the button, check your browser's zoom settings.
- Input the required waive information. To avoid the waiver being applied to the wrong year, let the waiver date match the due date.
- Click the "Waive Training Requirement" button to save.
