How to Update Placement Preferences

Overview

Placement preferences in Binti allow your agency to match children with caregivers based on criteria such as age, gender, or placement type. These preferences can be updated at any time to reflect changes in the caregiver's preferences and abilities. You can update preferences as a Placements worker or an Approvals worker.

Placements workers

1. On the Placement Options Dashboard, filter for the desired family.
2. On the far right, click "Actions" and select "Edit Placement Information".
3. Make the relevant edits, and then click "Update Placement Preferences" in the top right.

Approvals workers

Approvals workers can now update placement preferences, even if your agency does not have the Placements Module.

1. From the Applications dashboard, click "Actions" and select "Edit Placement Information".
   

   

2. The Edit Information page allows you to enter in-depth details about the family and their preferences.
3. Make the relevant edits, and then click "Update Placement Preferences" in the top right. You will be returned to the Applications dashboard and will see a confirmation banner near the top of the page:
