Overview
Conversions cases are only used in California public agencies. Conversion cases are for California foster families who were approved prior to January 2017 and are being brought into the RFA system. These were introduced to bridge families from the pre-RFA licensing system into the current RFA structure.
The article below shows case workers how to approve conversions cases and also shows them how to request cases or families be moved to or from conversion.
Approving a Conversion Case
Approved Conversion applications should automatically move into the “In Renewal Process” This transition allows the family to continue forward under the RFA renewal workflow. You approve these cases the same way you approve any other cases via the Change Application Status button in Binti.
Requesting a case be transformed to a Conversion case
If you have a case that you wish be transformed or changed to a conversion and moved to the conversion tab in Binti, please choose or type Talk to a human in the chat widget and request this from one of our support representatives.
Requesting a case be transformed from Conversion to an Initial Application
If you have a case that you wish be transformed or changed from a conversion case to an initial case please choose or type Talk to a human in the chat widget and request this from one of our support representatives.
