What are services?

Services are forms of direct and indirect support provided to children and youth. Binti enables tracking of services provided both by your own agencies or by other agencies. Below are some examples from our current customers, but keep in mind that services are completely customizable to the needs of your individual agency. 

Examples:

  • Supportive - medical services, tutoring, etc.
  • Tangible - school supplies, clothing, etc.
  • Financial - extracurricular activities, gift cards, etc.

How do I enable Services?

If you would like enable Services for your agency, please contact your Customer Success Manager. They will provide a template which will collect the following information: 

  • Service categories
  • Service names grouped by category
  • Service description (optional)
  • Service code (optional for billing/reporting)
  • Funding sources (optional for billing/reporting)

Once you have returned the completed template, your Customer Success Manager will follow-up with next steps.

To view the history of services provided to a child or youth, complete the following steps: 

  1. Locate the desired child or youth on the Children and Youth page
  2. Click Actions > View Services
  3. You will be redirected to a service overview page
