Overview
On the Child Requirements page, agency workers can complete, upload, and sign all required documents for managing a child's care. Documents that caregivers upload from their Caregiver Portal also appear here, giving you a single place to track everything a child needs.
The Child Requirements page includes tabs to help agency workers quickly view requirements by status and take action on items that are incomplete, completed, or waived.
How to Access the Child Requirements Page
Agency workers can access each child's unique Child Requirements page to complete, upload, and manage all required documents.
To access the Child Requirements page:
- In the top blue ribbon, click Children & Youth and select Children & Youth from the dropdown menu to go to the Children & Youth Dashboard.
- Search for the child using the Filter button on the right, or scroll until you see their entry.
- On the far right, click Actions and select Requirements to go to the child’s Requirements page.
Child Requirements Tabs and Sorting
The Child Requirements page includes three tabs:
- Incomplete
- Completed
- All
The Incomplete tab is selected by default.
Incomplete Tab
The Incomplete tab shows requirements that still need action.
On this tab, requirements are sorted from oldest to newest due date, so the forms due next appear at the top of the list.
Completed Tab
The Completed tab shows requirements that have already been completed.
On this tab, requirements are sorted from newest to oldest, so the most recently completed forms appear at the top of the list.
All Tab
The All tab shows both incomplete and completed requirements.
This tab uses a combined sort order:
- Incomplete requirements appear first, with the forms due next at the top.
- Completed requirements appear after incomplete requirements, with the most recently completed forms first.
Filtering Requirements
All tabs include a due date filter. The due date filter includes preset date options in addition to a custom date option.
The Completed and All tabs also include filters for:
- Completed requirements
- Waived requirements
These filters allow agency workers to more easily narrow the list of requirements based on status and timing.
Viewing Caregiver-Uploaded Documents
Caregivers can upload documents related to child placements through their Caregiver Portal, letting them submit ongoing documentation when a child is placed in their home. Once uploaded, these documents appear directly on the Child Requirements page for you to review alongside everything else you manage.
Currently, the Caregiver Portal only supports document uploads. Caregivers must fill out forms offline before uploading them. Agency workers should continue completing and uploading the majority of required forms directly through the Child Requirements page.
Modifying Caregiver Requirements
Agencies set caregiver document requirements before enabling this feature. If modifications are needed after the feature is live, agency leadership can contact their Customer Success Manager for assistance.
