Overview
Binti tracks the expiration dates of certain documents to ensure that all necessary information is up-to-date. Here's how expiration dates are managed and displayed in the system:
Uploading Documents with Expiration Dates
- When you upload a document that has an expiration date, you will be prompted to enter an expiration date. The document will not register as complete until a date is entered.
- Documents without expiration dates (like birth or marriage certificates) are marked complete as soon as they are uploaded.
Expiration Date Notifications
- 60 days before a document expires, Binti will send an email notification to remind you to update the document.
- 30 days before expiration, a second reminder email is sent.
Tracking Expiring Documents
- Applicants and other adults in the home can see expiring documents in their Binti portal.
- Agency workers can track expiring documents from their homepage and on the Documents page for each family.
