Can my agency's forms be translated into another language?

Overview

Some agencies have bilingual language support for their forms in English and Spanish and some offer multilingual support via Binti's AI translation feature. This article goes over how to figure out what languages your agency supports.
 

How to tell which languages my agency supports

To find out what languages are supported by your agency please  do the following steps:
 

  1. From the blue ribbon at the top of the Binti page go to Caregivers>Intake Caregiver
  2. On the page that opens under 'Application Template' choose the template that you are wanting to know what languages are supported

    Scroll down to the field called 'Caregiver Portal Language'

  3. In the drop down for that field it will show you the languages that are supported for your agency for that portal.

Please note that you are doing this just to check which languages are supported. For this purpose you do not have to do an actual intake but if you do an intake that is where you would be able to select the language the family will see translated forms in when they log into Binti

The screenshot below shows what you will see if the template has both English and Spanish versions of forms. Please note in this case this doesn't mean all forms necessarily have English and Spanish versions but at least some do.

FAQ

How can I get a copy of a blank form in one of my supported languages?

Right now you will only be able to view blank forms in English in your Binti portal. However, if you reach out to Binti support by typing Talk to a Human in the chat widget, Binti support might be able to pull a blank version of that form for you. You can view and download blank English forms on the documents tab for any applicant if the applicant hasn't started that form yet.

Can my families sign up online and choose the language they want their forms in?

Yes! To use the translation feature, caregivers can select their preferred language during sign-up:

 

Once the application has been started, the language can be edited in the left side menu by clicking the "globe" icon:
